Set Up Google Wallet
This page explains how to configure Google Wallet so customers can add their Customer barcode/QR code (based on their store customer ID) to their wallet.
By enabling Google Wallet, customers can display their Customer barcode/QR code directly in the wallet app. This removes the need to log in to their account page just to show a code, providing a smoother checkout experience.
Requirements
Themes where Google Wallet can be added:
- Customer accounts (Recommended)
- Legacy customer accounts with a theme that supports OS 2.0
Themes where Google Wallet cannot be added:
- Legacy customer accounts with a theme that does not support OS 2.0
Configure Google Wallet — Common Settings
In the Barcodeator app, open the Google Wallet tab.
Set up the following fields:
- Card Title
- Card Name
- Barcode Type
- Logo
Refer to the preview on the right side of the page to see how each field is reflected in Google Wallet.
⚠️ Updates to Google Wallet data can take time to reflect (up to 24 hours). To avoid issues with customers, we recommend not changing these settings once they are configured.
