Using Barcodeator with Shopify POS

This page explains how to use Shopify POS to scan a Customer barcode/QR code and link the customer to an order.

Add the Barcodeator POS app​

To scan a Customer barcode/QR code with the Shopify POS camera, you must launch the camera through the Barcodeator app.

Go to Add tile > App > Barcodeator and add CustomerQR, barcode reader (New).

Scan customer information with Barcodeator POS app​

From the POS tile, tap Barcodeator(New) Scan customer QR, barcode to launch the camera.

Then scan the Customer barcode/QR code displayed on the customer’s smartphone.
