Insert the Form into the Profile Page

This page explains how to insert AL CustomerMetaSync forms into the Profile Page.

Step 1: Customize the Profile Page​

From your Shopify admin, navigate to:
Settings > Checkout > Customize
or
Online Store > Themes > Customize > Checkout and Customer accounts
to open the theme customization screen.

In the list of app blocks, click the + button next to Customer Metafield Collector, and select Profile as the location.

Copy the Block ID of the form you want to insert from the app’s admin dashboard, then paste it into the block’s settings and save.

Inserting a Form into the Profile Page

You may customize the title and description text as needed.

Note: The customization screen displays dummy data, and forms cannot be submitted from this view.
To test actual behavior, log into the storefront and access the profile page as a customer.

Step 2: Review the Profile Page Behavior​

You can configure conditional visibility of form blocks based on customer tags or metafield values.

Once the form is submitted, Shopify Flow triggers can also be activated—allowing you to automate actions or integrate with external systems using the submitted metafield data.
